Compensation

The Senior Staff Accountant position at Universal Alloy Corporation offers a competitive base salary of $80,000 annually, with a potential bonus of up to 10%. Additionally, the role provides the opportunity for flexible work arrangements, including a choice between a 9/80 schedule or a hybrid arrangement allowing for two days of remote work per week.

The Job

As a Senior Staff Accountant at Universal Alloy Corporation, you'll be part of a team responsible for managing financial reports, tracking budgets, and analyzing operational expenses. Your role involves creating various reports and conducting analyses to support decision-making across different business segments. You'll need to be detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a team environment.

Ideal Candidate

We're seeking a Bachelor's degree holder in Accounting or Finance with at least 2 years of experience, preferably in Public Accounting. Strong communication and computer skills, especially in Excel, are essential. An ideal candidate would demonstrate proficiency in financial modeling and have inventory experience. The ability to work collaboratively, adapt quickly, and pay attention to detail are key attributes we're looking for.

Proficiency in Excel financial modeling and advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel pivot tables and database tools, is essential. Candidates with inventory experience will be preferred. Effective communication, strong reasoning skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment are also crucial for success in this role.
