Compensation

This role as an Industrial Eletrician I in Canton, GA, offers a competitive compensation package starting at $34.20/hr for 1st Shift Training. Additional differentials of $2/hr for Weekday Nights and $2.50/hr for Weekend Nights highlight our commitment to recognizing and rewarding flexibility in scheduling. The Job

As an Industrial Electrician I, your primary responsibility is to troubleshoot and repair motor control circuits, install new fixtures and electrical equipment, and work with PLC systems. Your expertise in handling trouble calls throughout the plant, operating electrical test equipment, and conducting preventive maintenance on equipment is crucial. Your role directly contributes to the safety and efficiency of the plant's electrical systems.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an industrial electrician or multi-craft technician. A high school diploma or GED is required, with additional training or certifications in industrial maintenance preferred. Candidates should possess knowledge of three-phase electrical circuits, motors, motor control circuits, programmable logic controllers, and variable frequency drives. Computer literacy and familiarity with NFPA 70E are essential.
